I created this Gif animation using Procreate for iPad. The secret to creating Gifs in Procreate starts with your drawing idea. Think about drawing something that will have a lot of movement.

Once you create your drawing, duplicate the layer and add movement:  in the example below, I duplicated the main layer several times and changed the position of the character’s hair, dress, kite and lines.

To create a movement effect, ensure you change the position at least 3 times. Once you’re done, you can export your artboard into GIF. Procreate will create the GIF by running each layer as a sequence. You can adjust the speed that the layers will be displayed.
